Director Matt Reeves tweeted out the first set photo from a recent shoot in a forest for the upcoming Dawn of the Planet of the Apes sequel. The photo was accompanied with the simple tagline, “A New Dawn…” and features actor Jason Clarke sharing the scene with Andy Serkis as he plays Caesar (in a mocap suit) while riding a horse.
A group of scientists in San Francisco struggle to stay alive in the aftermath of a plague that is wiping out humanity, while Caesar tries to maintain dominance over his community of intelligent apes.
