Continuing his mouth-watering streak of releasing behind-the-scenes photos from the set of X-Men: Days of Future Past, director Bryan Singer has posted the following image that appears to confirm that Trask Industries will indeed be appearing in the upcoming sequel.
Man fans have already suspected that Peter Dinklage may wind up playing Boliver Trask in the follow-up to X-Men: First Class, a military scientist who’s largely responsible for developing the mutant-hunting robots known as Sentinels – giant, robotic mutant-hunting machines that wind up bringing all mutants to the brink of extinction in the comics.

Based on the classic “Days of Future Past” comic book storyline written by Chris Claremont, the plot for the film will involving time travel and an alternate future in which mutants are hunted down by robotic Sentinels and placed in internment camps. This bleak, alternate future stems from the X-Men failing to prevent the assassination of a U.S. senator by the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, thus creating an alternate timeline in which mutants are hunted down like animals.
